Here you can find answers to common questions and explanations of settings in RemindPilot.

📖 General

A reminder is an entry you create to receive a notification at a specific date. It can be anything from a birthday to an insurance renewal date or a subscription that needs to be renewed.

The Free plan sends reminders by email to your registered address. The reminder page shows the exact dates messages will be sent.

With the free plan you can have a limited number of reminders per category and choose one reminder time per item. With the Premium plan the limits are increased and you can choose multiple reminder times.

🔔 Reminders & Settings

Choose an area and then the type closest to what you want to track. The quick flow does this automatically for common choices.

Enter the date you want to track. For a birthday it is the birthday, for insurance the next renewal and for an invoice the payment date.

Start date is when a contract or subscription begins. End date is when it expires. If no end date is specified the reminder runs indefinitely.

The notice period (in days) specifies how far in advance you need to cancel a subscription or contract. RemindPilot can use this to send an extra early reminder.

Choose how many days before the important date the message should be sent, for example 7 days before or on the day itself. The Free plan has one reminder time per item.

The field is optional. Enter who provides the service, such as Netflix, an insurance company or a person's name.

💰 Budget

On the Expenses page you can see a summary of all costs you have entered on your reminders. You can set a monthly budget and see whether you are under or over it.

Normalised per month spreads an annual cost evenly per month (e.g. 1,200 kr/year = 100 kr/month). Actual cost shows the amount only in the month it actually falls due.

Go to the Expenses page and click on budget settings. Enter your desired monthly amount. You will then see whether you are under or over budget.

👤 Account & Plans

The free plan gives you basic features with a limited number of reminders. The Premium plan gives more reminders, more reminder times per item and more categories.

Click the SV or EN button in the navigation menu at the top of the page to switch between Swedish and English.
